A new wave of SaaS?

Recently I learned two hot Valley startups: Airtable and Coda (seems to me they're competitors). Before I've already used similar apps such as Canva and Smartsheet, and just started learning to use Figma. Feels like we're entering a creative era with more democratized access to softwares/tools with these innovative products. Will they make it? Further blur the line between 2C and 2B softwares, and end the good days of closed, bulky, expensive enterprise softwares with totally up for customize ones? And maybe, even cut down the number of programmer jobs (a common tagline of these startups is "you can do... without coding")?
Interesting. I remember hearing about how Saleforce and the whole subscription economy pushed forward better user experience of enterprise softwares, and now this sounds like another new wave to deeper transformation. I think it goes with the change of organizational model of the workplace. I do believe in the future massive bureaucratic companies will be replaced by flexible small businesses/freelancers that gather for projects. And people will be liberated from narrowly-defined, a tiny screw in a huge machine/one dot on the assembly line kind of roles to function as a whole human at the job (more fluid responsibilities). The power of thinking and creativity (designing systems) will really become highly valued.
Are we sprinting to the next revolution of productivity?
